About The Podcast Factory Org – Building podcast, media and community initiatives since 2007

The Podcast Factory Org (ASBL-VZW-NPO) is a Belgian nonprofit organization using podcasting, digital media and citizen-oriented communication to support freedom of expression, inclusion, digital autonomy and socially responsible initiatives.

Through productions, training, events and mobile media initiatives such as the PodiBUZ, the organization helps citizens, associations and organizations create and share independent digital content in accessible and human-centered ways.

Legally founded in 2018, the organization builds upon years of experience in the Belgian podcast ecosystem dating back to early community podcast initiatives active since 2007.

Today, The Podcast Factory Org develops multilingual podcast productions, educational activities and collaborative media initiatives in French, Dutch and English, while providing multilingual accessibility through transcripts published in French, Dutch, English, German and Spanish.

The Podcast Factory Org is a Belgian nonprofit organization operating media initiatives including #PodiBUZ, PodBXL and the publication platform What’s Your Story (.be).

2008 – Le Podcast High Tech and Google Belgium.

Erik Portier, Country Manager Google Belgium, was our VIP guest at the hotel “Le Plaza Brussels” at our micro for “Le Podcast High Tech“.

Erik participated also to one of our podcast’s project that we organized in collaboration with the “Lycée St-Paul” of Lille, Vidaeo & Google Belgium !

All students received a Google T-Shirt.

Les Geeks

2008 – Le Podcast High Tech referenced in Les Geeks by Éditions Soleil.

Following meetings with the authors in 2008, Le Podcast High Tech became part of the Les Geeks universe published by Éditions Soleil. Launched in 2007, the podcast quickly established itself as a recognised French-language technology podcast and was subsequently referenced in the comic series, reflecting its place within the French-speaking tech and geek culture community of the time.

2015 – A long-term partnership begins with Transforma BXL.

Since 2015, Transforma BXL has supported The Podcast Factory Org through a lasting partnership that continues today. More than a coworking space, Transforma is a collaborative hub designed around innovation, sustainability and community engagement. Located in Brussels and recognised through several environmental certifications, the organisation provides an ecosystem where entrepreneurs, associations, creators and innovators can meet, learn and build projects together.

Over the years, Transforma has become one of the most enduring supporters of The Podcast Factory Org, helping to create opportunities for events, community initiatives and collaborative projects. Its commitment to supporting nonprofit organisations, including reduced rates for associations organising events, reflects values closely aligned with those of The Podcast Factory Org.

RCF Bruxelles

RCF Bruxelles

2018 – Partnership with RCF Bruxelles to bring podcast conversations to national radio audiences.

In 2018, RCF Bruxelles partnered with The Podcast Factory Org to select guests previously featured on the hrmeetup. © podcast and welcome them on air. Hosted by Léo Potier in a programme dedicated to the world of work, these interviews extended the reach of podcast conversations through radio broadcasting, including national rebroadcasts across the RCF network. The partnership helped connect podcasting and traditional media while giving greater visibility to professionals, entrepreneurs and changemakers featured in the HR Meetup community.

Love Health Center – Entr’Nous

Love Health Center – “Entr’Nous”

2021 – The Podcast Factory Org takes over production of the Entr’Nous podcast.

Originally launched in 2019 by the Love Health Center in Brussels, Entr’Nous is a podcast dedicated to open, authentic and accessible conversations about sexuality, relationships and personal well-being. Following the end of the original production collaboration, the Love Health Center entrusted The Podcast Factory Org with the podcast’s ongoing production in 2021.

Since then, The Podcast Factory Org has supported the development and growth of the project through recording, production and editorial continuity. Over the years, Entr’Nous has grown into one of the most established podcasts in its field, exceeding 45,000+ unique downloads and building a loyal audience around inclusive and educational discussions on sexuality.

The collaboration continues today and has evolved into a long-term partnership built on shared values, mutual trust and community engagement.

2021–2023 – Podcast workshops supporting young people who dropped out of school.

The Podcast Factory Org has supported young people who dropped out of school through podcasting workshops encouraging writing, creativity and digital expression, in collaboration with the Brussels educational initiative Out Of The Box.

2022 – Partnership supporting accessible podcast hosting and independent creators.

The Podcast Factory Org started a partnership with the French nonprofit association Badgeek and the podcast platform Vodio.fr to support accessible podcast hosting, free tools and independent podcast creation for French-speaking creators.

BELFA – Belgian Facility Association

BELFA – Belgian Facility Association

2022 – Launch of BELFA’s podcast channel in French and Dutch.

In 2022, BELFA (Belgian Facility Association), one of Belgium’s leading professional networks in Facility Management, entrusted The Podcast Factory Org with the creation of its podcast channel and the production of its first podcast episodes in both French and Dutch.

Representing thousands of Facility Management professionals across Belgium, BELFA selected The Podcast Factory Org to help develop a new audio communication channel dedicated to knowledge sharing, professional expertise and industry discussions. The project highlighted the organisation’s ability to manage multilingual podcast production and support professional associations in reaching their communities through digital audio content.

2022–2023 – Production of
De Werkvloer van Morgen.

Podcast production partnership with USG Professionals.
Between 2022 and 2023, USG Professionals entrusted The Podcast Factory Org with the production of two seasons of the podcast series De Werkvloer van Morgen (“The Workplace of Tomorrow”). As one of Belgium’s leading HR service providers, USG Professionals brought together experts and practitioners to explore the future of work, freelancing, project-based careers and technological innovation in the workplace.

The Podcast Factory Org managed the podcast production process, including recording, editing and post-production in Dutch, helping deliver high-quality content to a professional audience of freelancers, consultants and business leaders across Belgium.

Pyxis Belgium & Elia Group

Pyxis Belgium & Elia Group

2022 – Internal podcast production for Elia Group Agile Days through Pyxis.

In 2022, The Podcast Factory Org collaborated with Pyxis Belgium on the production of an English-language internal podcast created for Elia Group’s Agile Days initiative. Designed for intranet distribution and professional audiences across Belgium and Germany, the project supported internal communication, knowledge sharing and employee engagement around agile practices and ESG-related initiatives.

The collaboration highlighted The Podcast Factory Org’s ability to produce multilingual podcast content for large organisations while adapting to the specific requirements of internal communication environments and sustainability-focused programmes.

2023 – Launch of a Brussels podcast festival and community initiative.

The Podcast Factory Org launched PodBXL, a Brussels-based podcast festival and media initiative focused on live encounters, accessibility and human connection around podcasting, beyond algorithms and competition.

2023 – Paroles d’Écopreneurs produced with support from the National Lottery of Belgium.

The Podcast Factory Org joined the Kaya Coalition in Belgium and produced the podcast Paroles d’Écopreneurs, a project supporting ecological and social entrepreneurship with support from the Belgian National Lottery.

2023 – Reference Certificate for inclusive workplace learning.

The Podcast Factory Org received the “Reference Certificate 2023” from Workplace Architect Synchroon for its commitment to inclusive workplace learning, sustainable integration and social inclusion initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Pyxis Belgium

Pyxis Belgium – “Pyxis – Le Podcast”

2023 – Podcast production, video podcast workflow and Agile Day partnership.

In February 2023, The Podcast Factory Org became the producer of “Pyxis – Le Podcast”, the official podcast of Pyxis Belgium. Drawing on years of podcasting experience, the organisation explored video podcasting opportunities at a time when the format had not yet been widely adopted by major podcast platforms.

Using the capabilities then offered by Anchor, The Podcast Factory Org developed a dedicated video podcast workflow alongside the traditional audio feed, allowing Pyxis Le Podcast to be distributed in both audio and video formats on Spotify. This approach reflected the organisation’s long-standing interest in preserving and developing the full potential of podcasting beyond audio-only distribution.

The collaboration also led to the coverage of “La Journée Agile” events organised by Pyxis Belgium, while The Podcast Factory Org became an official sponsor of “La Journée Agile” 2024 in Nivelles. The partnership continues today, with Pyxis Belgium promoting podcast training programmes developed by The Podcast Factory Org within its professional community.

2025 – Official sponsor supporting the electric PodiBUZ mobile studio.

PluginCompany, our preferred provider of electric vehicle charging solutions, committed to supporting The Podcast Factory Org for a five-year period. Through this partnership, Plugin Company manages and supports the charging infrastructure of our fully electric PodiBUZ mobile podcast studio, helping us pursue sustainable and low-impact media production.

2025 – Monthly online community gathering for podcasters and creators.

Launched by The Podcast Factory Org in 2025, PodMeetup is a recurring online gathering held on the first Thursday evening of every month. Designed to bring together podcasters, creators, media enthusiasts and aspiring storytellers, the initiative provides a welcoming space for discussion, knowledge sharing, networking and mutual support.

Through regular conversations and community exchanges, PodMeetup helps strengthen connections within the Belgian podcasting ecosystem while encouraging collaboration, learning and the sharing of experiences among creators.

The podcasts hrmeetup. © and Midoricast, produced by The Podcast Factory Org, were selected by Meet My Job as part of its collection of Belgian podcasts promoting positive impact, meaningful work and social innovation. Episodes are republished alongside other inspiring Belgian podcast productions, contributing to a community driven by purpose and shared values.

2025 – PodiBUZ covers the Bounce Back Festival in Brussels “Maison de la Poste”, Tour & Taxi.

The Podcast Factory Org asbl-vzw deployed its mobile podcast studio during the Bounce Back Festival organised by BAOB Brussels. This media collaboration, made possible with the support of Holliprod, enabled the collection of interviews, stories and testimonials highlighting resilience, creativity and community engagement.

Relais pour la vie de Braine-l’Alleud – Fondation contre le Cancer

“Relais pour la vie”

2025 – Podcast production for Relay for Life Braine-l’Alleud.

In collaboration with Relay for Life Braine-l’Alleud, an initiative of the Belgian Foundation Against Cancer, The Podcast Factory Org created and produced the podcast Au cœur du Relais. Through its PodiBUZ mobile podcast studio deployed on-site during the event, the organisation collected stories, reflections and testimonials from participants, patients, caregivers, relatives, volunteers, healthcare professionals and supporters. The project aimed to preserve and share the human voices behind the fight against cancer while highlighting solidarity, resilience and community engagement.

National Lottery of Belgium

“Paroles d’Écopreneurs”

2025 – Podcast series supported by the National Lottery of Belgium.

Supported through a grant awarded to the Kaya Coalition, a Belgian network promoting ecological and social entrepreneurship, The Podcast Factory Org created and produced the podcast series Paroles d’Écopreneurs. The project highlights entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers working towards a more sustainable and inclusive economy. Supported by the National Lottery of Belgium, the series contributes to the dissemination of practical experiences, local initiatives and inspiring stories dedicated to positive societal impact.

2026 – First mobile podcast recordings at Namur en Mai.

Through a new collaboration with Pastoo, The Podcast Factory Org participated in Namur en Mai with its PodiBUZ mobile podcast studio. The event marked the beginning of a partnership focused on collecting interviews, stories and audience experiences during major cultural events, including future collaborations connected to Namur en Mai and Magic Cabaret.

LaSemo Festival

2026 – Partnership with LaSemo Festival.

The Podcast Factory Org joined LaSemo, one of Belgium’s leading sustainability-oriented festivals. Through the presence of the PodiBUZ mobile podcast studio, the organisation gathers stories, reflections and testimonials from festivalgoers, volunteers, artists and local actors, helping preserve and amplify the human experience behind the event.

The POD – The Place of Digital

The POD – The Place of Digital

2026 – Partnership for podcast training and digital skills.

The Podcast Factory Org established a partnership with The POD, an initiative dedicated to strengthening digital innovation and entrepreneurship in Walloon Brabant. Through this collaboration, podcasting training programmes developed by The Podcast Factory Org are made available to The POD community, supporting digital skills, communication and knowledge sharing within the region’s innovation ecosystem.

Since 2007, The Podcast Factory Org has connected podcasting, digital inclusion, education, culture, sustainability and citizen media through collaborations with public institutions, nonprofits, festivals, media organisations and social impact initiatives across Belgium and beyond.

Since 2022, the organisation has also integrated multilingual podcast transcription into its production workflow, providing full transcripts and multilingual accessibility for its audio and video content. Today, transcripts are regularly published in French, Dutch, English, German and Spanish, including on the @ThePodcastFactoryOrg YouTube channel, helping make knowledge, stories and community voices more accessible to both humans and AI.
