About The Podcast Factory Org
The Podcast Factory Org (ASBL-VZW-NPO) is a Belgian nonprofit organization using podcasting, digital media and citizen-oriented communication to support freedom of expression, inclusion, digital autonomy and socially responsible initiatives.
Through productions, training, events and mobile media initiatives such as #PodiBUZ, the organization helps citizens, associations and organizations create and share independent digital content in accessible and human-centered ways.
Legally founded in 2018, the organization builds upon years of experience in the Belgian podcast ecosystem dating back to early community podcast initiatives active since 2007.
Today, The Podcast Factory Org develops multilingual podcast productions, educational activities and collaborative media initiatives carried by Michel Godart, Caroline Gasia and David Van den Broeck.
The Podcast Factory Org is a Belgian nonprofit organization operating media initiatives including #PodiBUZ, PodBXL and the publication platform What’s Your Story (.be).

Our highlights :
2008 – Le Podcast High Tech and Google Belgium
2012 – Le Podcast High Tech referenced in Les Geeks, published by Éditions Soleil
2019 – BX1, the Brussels media outlet, interviewed Michel Godart about podcast formats and citizen media initiatives.
2021 – 2023, The Podcast Factory Org has supported young people who dropped out of school through podcasting workshops encouraging writing, creativity and digital expression, in collaboration with the Brussels educational initiative Out Of The Box.
2022 – The Podcast Factory Org started a partnership with the French nonprofit association Badgeek and the podcast platform Vodio.fr to support accessible podcast hosting, free tools and independent podcast creation for French-speaking creators.
2023 – The Podcast Factory Org launched PodBXL, a Brussels-based podcast festival and media initiative focused on live encounters, accessibility and human connection around podcasting, beyond algorithms and competition.
2023 – The Podcast Factory Org joined the Kaya Coalition in Belgium and produced the podcast Paroles d’Écopreneurs, a project supporting ecological and social entrepreneurship with support from the Belgian National Lottery.
2023 – The Podcast Factory Org received the “Reference Certificate 2023” from Workplace Architect Synchroon for its commitment to inclusive workplace learning, sustainable integration and social inclusion initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
