Why Learn with The Podcast Factory Org?

Podcast Production Experience

Our Academy draws on podcast production experience developed since 2007. Training sessions are grounded in practical challenges encountered through podcast creation, publishing, distribution and long-term project support.

Beyond Recording and Editing

Many podcast courses focus on equipment and production tools. We also explore editorial strategy, RSS distribution, accessibility, discoverability, SEO, PSO and GEO to help podcasts remain useful and easy to find.

Sustainable Podcasting

We encourage sustainable podcast practices designed to support long-term consistency, realistic workflows, accessibility and responsible digital choices.

Training also explores practical Green IT principles, helping creators reduce unnecessary digital waste while maintaining efficient and resilient production workflows.

Learning Beyond the Training Day

Many podcast questions only emerge once a project is underway.

Participants in our citizen training programmes may revisit the theoretical part of future Podomicast sessions at no additional cost for up to six months after their training. This allows them to reinforce key concepts, gain new perspectives through the questions of other creators and continue learning as their own projects evolve.

Combined with initiatives such as PodMeetup and the wider community around The Podcast Factory Org, this approach supports continuous learning beyond a single training day.

Built From Practice, Not Theory

The Podcast Factory Org Academy is rooted in real-world podcast production, publishing and long-term project support.

Our training programmes are informed by years of hands-on experience creating podcasts, building communities, managing RSS distribution and helping projects remain discoverable over time.

Rather than focusing solely on recording equipment or editing software, we explore the full lifecycle of a podcast project: positioning, editorial strategy, production workflows, accessibility, distribution, discoverability, SEO, PSO and GEO.

Participants are encouraged to develop podcast projects that are not only technically functional, but also meaningful, sustainable and resilient in the long term.

This practical approach helps creators, associations, nonprofits and organisations build podcast initiatives that continue to create value long after publication.

Who We Support

The Podcast Factory Org Academy supports podcast projects across Belgium and Europe.
Our training programmes and support services are designed for a wide range of organisations and creators, including:

  • Associations and nonprofits
  • Public institutions and municipalities
  • Cultural, educational and media organisations
  • Schools, colleges and universities
  • Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs)
  • Community-led and social impact initiatives
  • Independent creators and podcasters
  • European cooperation and international projects

Whether the objective is internal communication, knowledge sharing, public engagement, education, advocacy, storytelling or community building, we help participants design podcast projects adapted to their context, audience and long-term goals.

Our experience also includes projects involving private podcast distribution, restricted-access audio channels, internal communication workflows and sustainable publishing strategies for organisations seeking practical and accessible solutions.

Specialised Podcast Solutions

Beyond traditional podcast production, The Podcast Factory Org Academy also explores specialised podcast use cases adapted to the needs of organisations, associations and community projects.

Our experience includes private and intranet podcasting for internal communication, restricted-access audio distribution, knowledge-sharing initiatives and podcast workflows designed for specific audiences.

We also help organisations explore sustainable publishing strategies that balance accessibility, discoverability and long-term operational costs.

For smaller organisations and community-led initiatives, The Podcast Factory Org has developed methodologies such as InsertRSS, designed to help projects build on existing communities, accelerate audience development and reduce technical complexity.

These specialised approaches are introduced when relevant to the objectives, resources and context of each project.

Advanced Podcast Infrastructure

A podcast project does not only depend on recording quality. Its long-term success also depends on the technical and organisational choices made before publication.

The Podcast Factory Org Academy helps organisations understand podcast infrastructure : RSS governance, hosting choices, migration risks, backup strategies, statistics continuity and long-term content ownership.

We also introduce practical workflow methods, including clear project specifications, Kanban-based organisation and automation opportunities designed to reduce repetitive tasks and improve team autonomy.

When relevant, we can advise on custom automation approaches, including Python scripts and structured workflows, without making teams dependent on unnecessary technical complexity.

This infrastructure-oriented approach helps organisations build podcast projects that remain publishable, measurable, transferable and sustainable over time.

Podcast Training For Organisations

Build an Internal or Public-Facing Podcast with Confidence

Whether your objective is internal communication, knowledge sharing, employer branding, public engagement or content marketing, our organisation-focused programmes help transform an idea into a sustainable podcast project.

By the end of the programme, your organisation will be able to:

  • Define a clear editorial strategy and audience positioning
  • Select appropriate tools, workflows and hosting solutions
  • Record and edit podcast episodes autonomously
  • Publish and distribute content through RSS-based podcast platforms
  • Understand accessibility, discoverability and long-term sustainability principles
  • Manage the project internally with clear processes and responsibilities
  • Build a podcast initiative designed to remain useful and operational over time
Unlike traditional training programmes focused solely on equipment or software, our approach combines strategy, production, distribution and long-term project sustainability.

Training is delivered through practical, hands-on support adapted to the objectives, resources and maturity of each organisation.

Typical Programme Structure

A typical engagement is delivered through a structured three-day programme combining training, consultancy and guided implementation.

Objective: produce visually coherent and professional video content adapted to podcast and vodcast formats.

Day 2 - Video Post-Production
